Job Summary:

 

Head of Business Planning & Insights is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving the alignment of business operations with the company’s mission and strategic objectives. This role requires a strong focus on strategy development, planning, and execution to ensure the company remains competitive and forward-thinking.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Strategy Development: Align business operations with the company's mission and goals. Clear and actionable strategic plans.
  • Industry & Market Research: Analyze industry and competitive trends to identify opportunities. Identified emerging market trends and opportunities.
  • Opportunity Prioritization: Identify and prioritize product and service improvement opportunities. Defined priority list of initiatives with potential ROI.
  • Planning & Implementation: Develop implementation plans for prioritized initiatives. Timely and efficient implementation of business initiatives.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Develop forecasting models, budgets, and resource allocation strategies. Accurate and realistic forecasts and budgets.
  • Operational Insights: Utilize internal knowledge to develop forward-looking strategies. Proactive operational adjustments based on insights.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Provide strategic business insights to support decisions. Improved decision quality and timeliness.
  • Commercial Alignment: Align commercial objectives with national goals and optimize performance. Optimized commercial performance and goal alignment.
  • Performance Optimization: Develop initiatives to optimize overall business performance. Increased efficiency and productivity across functions.

Qualifications:

 

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in business strategy, planning, or a related role.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role involving strategic planning and execution.
  • Expertise In-depth knowledge of business operations, resource allocation, and financial planning.
  • Expertise in forecasting, budgeting, and creating data-driven strategic models.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in advanced data analysis tools, financial modeling software, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and frameworks.
