Contract and Transaction Support

Handle pre and post contract activities which include drafting, reviewing, negotiating and supporting the implementation of agreements, correspondence, contractual claims and other related documents. The primary scope includes sourcing, procurement, vendor/supply, network and interconnection, IT and technology, lease/property, and other business enablement or operational matters. The role may also support other transactions or legal matters assigned from time to time, taking into account business needs, workload allocation and changes to the Company’s organization or operating model.

 

 

Turnaround: The extent to which User(s) receive all forms of legal counsel within a reasonable timeframe (measured on a scale of 1-5).

 

Results: The extent to which planned results are attained by legal counsel (measured on a scale of 1-5).

 

Overall satisfaction: The extent to which User(s) are satisfied with legal services provided by legal counsel (measured on a scale of 1-5).

 

Collaboration: Effectiveness in collaborating with members of the directorate and other relevant functions (measured on a scale of 1–5).

Contractual Compliance and Risk Management

Identify and advise on legal and contractual risks and help ensure that relevant agreements and transactions comply with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies, including those relating to procurement, telecommunications and network infrastructure, IT and data governance, lease/property, and vendor arrangements. Support the implementation of appropriate contractual safeguards, internal approvals and risk-mitigation measures.

Legal Advisory and Business Support

Keep abreast of laws and regulations development and changes relevant to procurement, network/interconnection, IT/technology, and lease/property matters, and conduct legal research on matters which may affect the company’s business and operations activities.

 

Provide day-to-day legal advice and practical support in relation to the negotiation, execution, implementation, management and enforcement of contracts and arrangements within the role’s assigned scope. Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders and, where required, external legal counsel or other professional advisers..

Requirements

Education

Min. bachelor’s degree in law (SH) from reputable universities in Indonesia.

Related Experienced

  • Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in an in-house legal function or law firm, preferably involving the drafting, review and negotiation of sourcing, procurement, vendor/supply, network/infrastructure, IT/technology, lease/property or other commercial contracts.
  • Good knowledge of Indonesian contract and commercial law and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Exposure to the telecommunications, data centre or technology infrastructure industry is an advantage.

Generic Competency

  • Fluency and proficieny in English and Indonesian language, MS Office (outlook, word, excel, ppt)
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio).
  • Familiarity with the use of AI/GenAI tools to support legal work (e.g., contract drafting/review assistance, legal research, document summarization) is an advantage.
