Description: 

Role Purpose:

This role is responsible for supporting the management, maintenance, and optimization of the company’s databases to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility. This role focuses on assisting with data analysis, generating insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making to enhance commercial performance and operational efficiency. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data is effectively utilized across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Management: Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s databases. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards. Database uptime percentage. Data accuracy and integrity score. Compliance with data security standards
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Perform data analysis using analytics tools to extract actionable insights. Support the generation of reports and dashboards to aid decision-making
  • Performance Reporting & KPI Management: Maintain key performance indicator (KPI) reports for commercial teams, tracking sales performance, revenue growth, and customer engagement. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of ARPU, churn rates, sales conversion rates, and market share growth. Provide executive-level reports and insights to support strategic business reviews.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with finance, marketing, sales, and product teams to support data-related projects. Ensure data insights are effectively communicated and utilized across functions. Strong alignment between data strategies and cross-functional business objectives
  • Technology Support: Support the adoption of new data technologies and tools. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues. Adoption of innovative data technologies. Improved data processing and analysis efficiency. Number of new technologies implemented. Improvement in data processing time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 7- 10 years of experience in database management, data analysis, or a related field (experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus).
  • Proficiency in database technologies (e.g., SQL, Oracle) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Advance understanding of data governance and data privacy regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable commercial insights.
  • Able to translate data into strong and understable visualization
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
