Role Purpose

The AVP Platform & Technology Enablement role is responsible for defining, governing, and enabling enterprise platforms and foundational technologies that support digital business growth. This role ensures that platform architecture, shared services, and enabling technologies (Cloud, PaaS, CPaaS, NaaS, M2M/IoT, integration platforms) are designed, standardized, and adopted effectively across the organization.

The role bridges business strategy and technology execution by translating digital business needs into scalable, secure, and cost-efficient platform capabilities, while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and operational readiness.

 

Job Description

1. Platform & Technology Strategy

    • Define, develop, and continuously improve the Platform & Technology Enablement strategy and roadmap aligned with Digital Business and Corporate IT strategy.
    • Establish platform principles, reference architectures, and technology standards for Cloud, PaaS, CPaaS, NaaS, M2M/IoT, and shared services.
    • Continuously monitor global technology trends and assess their applicability to business and operational needs.

2. Platform Architecture & Enablement

    • Govern end-to-end platform architecture to ensure scalability, resiliency, security, and interoperability.
    • Ensure platforms are reusable, API-driven, and enable faster product development and integration.
    • Oversee architecture alignment across platform domains (M2M/IoT, CPaaS, NaaS, Cloud-native services).

3. Business Enablement & Use Case Development

    • Translate business requirements into platform capabilities and high-level solution designs.
    • Develop platform-driven use cases that clearly articulate business value, cost efficiency, and time-to-market improvement.
    • Act as a strategic partner for Digital Business, B2B, and B2C teams in platform adoption.

4. Governance, Security & Compliance

    • Ensure platform designs comply with enterprise architecture, IT corporate security, and regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with IT Corporate Security on security-by-design and secure platform enablement.
    • Define governance models covering lifecycle management, technology selection, and platform evolution.

5. Financial & Vendor Management

    • Define and propose annual budget plans covering platform capabilities, capacity expansion, modernization, and transformation initiatives.
    • Drive cost optimization through platform standardization and shared-service models.
    • Manage strategic technology partners and vendors, including performance monitoring and roadmap alignment.

6. Organization & Capability Development

    • Lead and develop platform architecture teams to meet organizational and performance standards.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Ensure effective knowledge sharing and capability uplift across platform domains.

Requirement

Qualification:

Minimum bachelor’s degree (S1) in telecommunication / computer science / computer engineering

Related Experience:

    • Minimum 10 years experiences in IT related function in Telco company
    • Minimum 3 years experiences in managing of the IT DC and Monitoring area

 

Skills:

    • Strong expertise in Cloud, PaaS, CPaaS, NaaS, M2M/IoT, and enterprise integration platforms.
    • Solid understanding of enterprise architecture, API management, cloud‑native design principles, and modern platform ecosystem design.
    • Experience in budget planning, cost modeling, financial management, and technology investment justification.
    • Demonstrated ability in vendor and partner management, including performance monitoring, negotiation, and roadmap alignment.
    • Strong stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to collaborate across business, operations, and technical teams.
    • Experience in Project Management Office (PMO) practices with the ability to accelerate processes while ensuring governance, tracking, and delivery control.
    • Broad knowledge of emerging IT & digital technologies: 5G, IoT, Cloud solutions, automation, mobile applications, and related innovation trends
