Officer-Legal Growth

Role Purpose

Responsible for providing end-to-end legal support for the company's commercial growth initiatives. This role focuses on commercial contract drafting and review, compliance with telecommunication and digital regulations, mitigation of consumer dispute risks, and delivering day-to-day practical, growth-oriented legal advisory.

Scope of Work

Commercial Contract Drafting & Review

• Handle pre and post commercial contract activities which include drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and supporting the implementation of partnership agreements, distribution agreements, letters, and NDAs.
• Ensure that commercial structures (commission schemes, variable fees, revenue sharing, and limitations of liability) have optimal contractual safeguards for IOH.
• Manage the administration and tracking of contract requests

Legal Advisory

• Provide practical, and solutions-oriented day-to-day legal advice to the commercial team regarding new product launches, promotional programs, bundling partnerships, and Terms & Conditions.

• Support commercial coordination meetings and negotiate legal clauses with potential business or corporate partners

Compliance & Customer Dispute Management

• Review the compliance of commercial products and schemes against the Consumer Protection Law, and other relevant governing law.
• Provide legal support and draft official formal responses to escalated legal complaints from critical customers or third parties

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Law (S.H.) from a reputable university in Indonesia

Related Experience:

• 2–3 years of relevant work experience (Officer level) in legal departments (in-house) or reputable corporate law firms.
• Direct experience in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, business partnership agreements, or transactions in the to the telecommunications, or other fast-moving consumer-facing industries with similar operating models is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of Indonesian Contract Law, Commercial Law, Consumer Protection Law

Skills:

• Legal Drafting, Contract Negotiation, and Contract Lifecycle Management.
• Legal Analysis, Risk Assessment, and Problem Solving.
• Strong persuasive communication and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in Indonesian and English (both oral and written legal/contractual terms).
• Proficiency with MS Office 365, and adaptation to AI tools for legal research and document review
