Sr Officer-Cloud Engineer

Role Overview

• Responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security for applications and services.
• Work closely with development, DevOps, and IT operations teams to manage cloud environments, automate infrastructure, and implement cloud solutions that align with business goals.

Area Of Responsibilities

Operational Delivery Excellence

• Deliver & lead project services to customer.
• Deliver services to customer as SoW successfully.

Strategic Cloud Delivery Management

• Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for Cloud Engineer enhancement.
• Conduct regular assessments of Cloud Engineer and identify areas for improvement.
• Assessment and improvement plan reports

Client and Stakeholder Engagement

• Prepare and present performance reports to stakeholders.
• Gather client feedback and use it to improve service delivery
• Minimum Requirement

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar cloud-focused role
• Strong Knowledge in IT Infrastructure, Network, and Cloud
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience designing, deploying, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure in hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.
• Practical experience with cloud-native services, including compute, storage, networking, and serverless technologies.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid knowledge of cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements.
• Experience configuring cloud networking components such as VPCs, firewalls, load balancers, and security groups.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent.
• Ability to optimize cloud performance and costs through auto-scaling, rightsizing, and performance tuning.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for complex infrastructure and application issues.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
