Job Description

1. Product Management & Ownership

  • Translate business goals and user needs into clear requirements, user journeys, and specifications (functional specs, use cases, acceptance criteria).
  • Prioritize the backlog, make scope and phasing trade-offs, and drive product decisions from discovery through release and post-launch iteration.
  • Champion security, compliance, and CX-by-design given the regulated banking context (data protection, fraud handling, audit and control requirements).
  • Own product success metrics and continuously steer the product toward them.

2. Project Management

  • Drive delivery across the full product lifecycle within acceptable timelines and release gates.
  • Build and maintain project plans, milestone trackers, and critical-path views; manage dependencies, risks, and blockers proactively.
  • Run recurring working sessions and steering updates; keep a single source of truth and clear, accurate ownership (PIC/ETA) on every action item.
  • Manage escalations (technical, security, contractual, partner-side) to keep delivery on track.

3. Data, Insight & Market Research

  • Lead product discovery through market research, focus groups, and field/market visits to validate value propositions and shape features.
  • Use data and analytics to inform prioritization, define KPIs, and measure product performance.
  • Partner with data and finance team on reporting, reconciliation, and performance dashboards across both product areas.
  • Turn quantitative and qualitative insight into actionable product improvements and leadership-ready narratives.

4. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Serve as the primary product liaison to the partner: aligning on scope, timelines, technical integration, data sharing, and go-to-market.
  • Coordinate a broad internal stakeholder.
  • Define and maintain clear responsibility splits across organizations for the end-to-end user journey.
  • Produce weekly, leadership, and executive-level updates that surface progress, risks, and decisions for senior audiences.

Qualifications:

1. Required

  • 5+ years in product management, ideally in fintech, digital banking, payments, or telco financial products.
  • Proven ownership of a product from concept -launch-to-operational, including cross-functional and partner-led delivery.
  • Strong project/program management skills: planning, dependency and risk management, and driving to deadlines across teams.
  • Data-informed product sense; comfortable defining KPIs and working with analytics.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
  • Comfort operating in regulated environments (financial compliance, security, data privacy).
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and professional English.

2. Preferred

  • Experience with bank or financial-institution partnerships, API-based integrations, and app-embedded financial services.
  • Familiarity with agent/retailer distribution models and go-to-market in the Indonesian market.
