Description:
Role Purpose:
Primarily responsible for management, growth, and development of strategic partnerships both existing and new for the multiple telco brands of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison including IM3 & Tri. Leveraging key partnerships while building a pipeline of new partners to support overall IOH business objective. Supporting other business users to generate revenue and/or any other KPIs from non-telco products & services through partnerships.
To ensure that IOH can develop parallel business streams beyond being an internet provider.
To ensure that IOH is maximizing partnership opportunities by
- Develop and implement a strategic partnership initiatives roadmap aligned with IOH objectives
- Identify key partnership opportunities that drive business growth, revenue generation, and brand valuation
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align partnership strategies with overall IOH goals and ensure seamless execution of partnerships
- Identify and evaluate potential partners across industries to enhance the company value proposition
- Lead negotiations and structure partnership agreements, ensuring mutual benefits and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Establish clear KPIs and metrics to measure the success of each partnership
- Act as the primary point of contact for strategic partners and serve as an initiative driver for internal stakeholders, fostering strong and enduring relationships
- Monitor ongoing partnerships to ensure objectives are met and address any challenges proactively
- Regularly engage with partners to explore new collaboration opportunities
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
- 3+ years’ experience in Telco (preferred), Media, OTT, Banking, Fintech sector and other similar digital business organizations.
- 3+ years’ experience in one or more of the following areas
- Partnership Management
- Business Development
- Telco Sales
- Consumer Experience,
- Digital Marketing
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Communications,
- Knowledge on Digital business including but not limited to Content Services, Banking, MFS, eMoney, Loan etc.
- Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in negotiations, operational management, and implementation.
- Fluent in English
- Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Translate the Company and Group Vision, Mission and Strategy into Division’s work plan to develop the greater future
- Set business goals (e.g Maximize revenues, improve customer experience) and provide approach, solutions to achieve them through the work plan
- Ability to execute their own work plan
- Supervise the managers & support them to complete their tasks, evaluate their performance and ensure employee compliance with company policies.
- Establish Divisions KPI based on organizational scorecard and cascaded down the teams
- Closely monitor performance of KPIs to support individual, team, group and organization.
- Set and implement IOH’s commercial strategy, specifically within digital business group, map capabilities and priorities
- Lead discussions and negotiations between partners and internal stakeholders to ensure the partnership terms are mutually beneficial.
- Closing commercial deals with partners
- Developing pipeline of new partners as well as initiatives with existing key partners and ensuring the execution is within timely manner
- Explore and create new business verticals areas permitted under the Telco service license and also seek guidance and support to venture into new business areas through partnerships including areas as follows:
- Content (Music, Video, Gaming, Apps)
- Advertising
- Banking
- Payments
- eCommerce
- Mobile Money
- Insurance
- Investment
- Devices
- Data Monetization
- APIs
- Data as a Service
- Etc
- Partner with internal (like product, CVM, Retail, B2B, Brand Marketing) and external parties (Content, Marketing agencies, AdTech companies etc) to bring value propositions to engage with customers
- Have a Telco agnostic mindset and drive/lead the team to think beyond the available user base, segment.
- Work closely with HR to develop digital talent
- Develop and mentor team member(s) to achieve divisional objectives
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff, provide recommendations to supervisor and implement actions, such as promotions and dismissals
- Provide feedback to team to create the succession plan for the function/ organization and attract, motivate and retain top talent to ensure alignment with the plan
- In order to ensure talents are attracted, retained and developed to meet organizational needs
- Work closely with HR to develop digital talent
