Description: 

Role Purpose:

The Insights role focuses on performing advanced analytics and statistical modeling to provide data-driven insights that support strategic business, sales, marketing, and product development decisions. This position involves analyzing large data sets to uncover market trends, customer buying patterns, and business sector opportunities, enabling organizations to make informed decisions that enhance commercial performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection and Preparation: Gather and clean large data sets for analysis, availability of high-quality, clean data for analysis.
  • Complex Analytics and Statistical Modeling: Perform statistical modeling and advanced analytics on collected data, accurate statistical models and analytics driving decisions.
  • Market and Customer Trend Analysis: Analyze market and customer trends to identify opportunities and challenges, identification of actionable market and customer trends.
  • Adhoc Actionable Insights Generation: Deliver actionable insights to inform business and marketing decisions, actionable recommendations improving commercial performance.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Provide strategic business insights to support decisions, improved decision quality and timeliness.
  • Operational Insights: Utilize internal knowledge to develop forward-looking strategies, proactive operational adjustments based on insights.
  • Opportunity Prioritization: Identify and prioritize product and service improvement opportunities, defined priority list of initiatives with potential ROI.

 

 

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Data accuracy, completeness, and availability rates.
  • Modeling accuracy, analytics error rates.
  • Conduct Business Analytic forum every month for alignment and discuss key issues with all stakeholders.
  • Number of trends identified, actionable insights generated.
  • High level market insight, not include detail on product level/channel level, if on channel or product level, as compiler from stakeholder.
  • Frequency and quality of delivered insights, decision-making influence.
  • Conduct Business Analytic forum every month for alignment and discuss key issues with all stakeholders.
  • Adoption rate of insights-driven decisions by leadership.
  • Conduct Business Analytic forum every month for alignment and discuss key issues with all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Expertise In-depth knowledge of data analysis methodologies, statistical techniques, and predictive modeling.
  • Expertise in using BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong skills in data interpretation, storytelling, and presenting insights to stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance principles.
  • Familiarity with advanced statistical techniques.
