Job Description
Operational:
- Managing the company’s supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending
- Generating and implementing efficient sourcing and category management strategies
- Analyzing and calculating costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure
- Invent negotiation strategies and secure profitable deals
- Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency
- Perform cost and scenarios analysis, and benchmarking
- Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques
- Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
Team Collaboration:
- Cooperate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes
- Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers
Minimum Requirements
Qualification:
Degree in a relevant discipline (Supply Chain/Finance/Engineering)
Experience:
Minimum 5 years (tentative) of relevant working experience in Procurement & Logistics/Supply Management and/or related function with demonstrated management skills with 5 years (tentative) experience as a people manager
Skills:
- Proven work experience as a sourcing manager or procurement manager
- Familiar with sourcing and vendor management and relevant software
- Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
- Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data
- Solid judgement with ability to make good decisions
- Able to work effectively with senior and functional management in Indosat
- Able to lead and motivate a team to effectively support dynamic business expectations, continuous improvement in operational excellence
- Good end to end operational knowledge (procedures & systems) and relevant governance requirements
- Good analytical skills
- Proven ability to communicate and influence all levels
- Possess high standard of personal and professional integrity
