Job Description

 

Operational:

  • Managing the company’s supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending
  • Generating and implementing efficient sourcing and category management strategies
  • Analyzing and calculating costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure
  • Invent negotiation strategies and secure profitable deals
  • Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency
  • Perform cost and scenarios analysis, and benchmarking
  • Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques
  • Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers
  • Determine quantity and timing of deliveries

 

Team Collaboration:

  • Cooperate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes
  • Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers

 

Minimum Requirements

 

Qualification:

Degree in a relevant discipline (Supply Chain/Finance/Engineering)

 

Experience:

Minimum 5 years (tentative) of relevant working experience in Procurement & Logistics/Supply Management and/or related function with demonstrated management skills with 5 years (tentative) experience as a people manager

 

Skills:

  • Proven work experience as a sourcing manager or procurement manager
  • Familiar with sourcing and vendor management and relevant software
  • Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
  • Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data
  • Solid judgement with ability to make good decisions
  • Able to work effectively with senior and functional management in Indosat
  • Able to lead and motivate a team to effectively support dynamic business expectations, continuous improvement in operational excellence
  • Good end to end operational knowledge (procedures & systems) and relevant governance requirements
  • Good analytical skills
  • Proven ability to communicate and influence all levels
  • Possess high standard of personal and professional integrity
