Job Responsibilities:
a. Inventory Governance & Strategy, Develop and enforce company-wide inventory policies, procedures, and controls aligned with regulatory and SCO compliance standards.Own the inventory governance framework and ensure integration with upstream (procurement) and downstream (warehouse/distribution) processes.Set strategic direction for inventory control, including warehouse zoning, ABC classification, inventory thresholds, and safety stock levels
b. 3PL Inventory Oversight & Coordination, Act as the main liaison for inventory operations with 3PL providers.Conduct regular reviews and audits of 3PL-managed inventory (e.g., reconciling physical stock, WMS, SAP).Ensure 3PL KPI compliance (stock accuracy, timeliness, occupancy, handling standards).Evaluate/approve 3PL adjustment proposals, write-offs, and expiry/damage reports.
c. Inventory Lifecycle Management, Monitor aging, slow-moving, and at-risk SKUs; recommend reallocation or disposal.Develop plans for inventory rotation, bundling, or discounting to reduce obsolescence.
d. Disposal & Obsolete Management, Manage end-to-end disposal of damaged, expired, or obsolete items.Ensure compliance with environmental/regulatory requirements, working with Legal, Procurement, and Compliance.Track disposal costs, financial impacts, and recurring issues
e. Reporting, Analytics & SystemsOwn inventory reporting cadence for management: month-end closing, variance, cost analysis.Collaborate with IT/Finance for system integration across SAP, Coupa, WMS, etc.
f. Audit, Risk & Compliance, Lead internal/external audits with full documentation readiness.Conduct unannounced checks and cycle counts (monthly/yearly); implement corrective actions.
g. Stakeholder Collaboration, Ensure traceability and accountability of all stock adjustments.Partner with Supply Planning on demand-supply and replenishment.Support Finance in provisioning, costing, and valuation.Collaborate with Commercial/Product teams on warehouse allocation and SKU rollouts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in inventory or warehouse management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in managing 3PLs in high-volume environments
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP), WMS, and inventory analytics tools
- Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and integrity
- Strong in project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration.
