Summary of Rol

The AVP - Portfolio and Finance Operations plays a critical role in overseeing the financial performance of the Fintech Group within Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison. This role is responsible for managing revenue and expense monitoring, financial reporting, and ensuring operational excellence in finance-related processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, the ability to problem-solve financial challenges, and experience working with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making. This is a high-impact role requiring strong stakeholder management skills and financial acumen to support the growth and sustainability of the Fintech Group.

 

Responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the Fintech Group, including revenue and expense monitoring

- Develop and maintain weekly and monthly financial reports to support management decision-making

- Analyze revenue and expense trends, providing recommendations for optimization to business teams

- Gain a deep understanding of financial reporting processes, including data sources (internal and partner-driven), tracking cadence, internal accounting, accruals, realizations, and GL reporting

- Identify and resolve financial challenges within the Fintech Group P&L through structured problem-solving, ensuring leadership teams can make well-informed decisions

- Design and continuously improve a financial & business performance framework, implementing mitigation plans when risks or gaps are identified

- Drive operational excellence through financial process enhancements

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across IOH and Fintech Group, including business owners, marketing, business planning/revenue management, and finance teams, to strengthen revenue and cost management

 

Requirement

- 5+ years of experience in financial & business analysis, budgeting & planning, and/or financial operations

- Strong stakeholder management skills, demonstrated through experience in fast-paced large local, multinational, or financial services companies

- Ability to manage stakeholders effectively without direct authority

- Proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.Strong structured communication skills (written and verbal)

 

Nice to Hav

  • Experience in financial services or telco industry is a plus but not required.
  • SQL proficiency is beneficial but not essential.
