Description: 

Role Purpose

Provide business-aware operational leadership for IT Network Operations across IOH enterprise datacenter fabric, security perimeter, enterprise WAN, and hybrid cloud integration. Drive customer excellence, 99.99%+ availability, low latency, and zero-fail service posture for enterprise production datacenters, corporate offices, and cloud interconnects. Lead continuous improvement, Cisco ACI as-Code, network automation (Ansible/Python), Zero Trust Network  Architecture (ZTNA), and quality work standards while coaching team members and governing Managed Service Providers (MSPs).

 

SCOPE OF WORK & INTEGRATED COMPETENCIES


    - Datacenter Network: Operate Cisco ACI fabric across enterprise datacenters, spine-leaf, EVPN/VXLAN, BGP/OSPF, and SAN fabric with strict quality work standards and applied learning in automation.
    - Network Security: Operate next-generation firewalls, F5 WAF/LTM, and SSL certificates through structured planning, risk evaluation, and close collaboration with Cyber Security.
    - Connectivity & WAN: Manage MPLS, DIA, VPN, and SD-WAN connectivity for corporate offices, regional hubs, and remote users to deliver customer excellence.
    - Cloud Integration: Operate Cloud Dedicated Interconnects (GCP, AWS Direct Connect, ExpressRoute) with business awareness of cloud traffic costs and VPC routing.
    - Service Management: Lead P1/P2/P3 incident command, NPM telemetry, flow analysis, and capacity forecasting through decisive operational decision making.
    - Vendor & MSP Governance: Direct daily MSP execution, validate vendor SLAs, review Methods of Procedure (MOPs), and coach vendor leads to build team capacity.
    - Risk & Compliance: Manage IT network controls, ISO 27001 audit compliance, firewall rule reviews, and ZTNA micro-segmentation

 

 AUTHORITY
    - Job: Operational approval for network changes, firewall rules, ACLs, and project handovers.
    - People: Lead, coach, and evaluate network specialists; foster continuous learning.
    - Budget: Input to network capex/opex budget and approve expenses within AVP limit.

 

REQUIREMENTS & CAPABILITIES
    - Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications, or related field.
    - Experience: 10+ years network engineering; 5+ years in Level 6 / AVP operational leadership.
    - Integrated Capabilities: Decision making for P1 incidents, continuous improvement via Ansible/Python, customer excellence for SLAs, business awareness of cloud costs, change planning, quality work standards for MOPs, applied  learning in ACI/ZTNA, coaching, and cross-functional           collaboration.
    - Technical Expertise: Expert in Cisco ACI, BGP/OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, Palo Alto/Fortinet, F5 WAF/LTM, Cloud Interconnects, ITIL v4, CCNP/CCIE/PCNSE certified.
