Role Purpose
The AVP Communications Circle leads the development and execution of integrated communication strategies aligned with Circle business objectives, ensuring strong brand positioning and measurable commercial impact. The role drives stakeholder engagement across local ecosystems, including media, government, and community leaders through structured plans and reporting, oversees media relations through press materials and outreach, and ensures effective internal communication across the Circle. It is responsible for delivering consistent, on-brand content across all channels, managing crisis communication planning and response, and tracking performance through regular reporting, including contribution to sales-related KPIs

Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Advanced degree (e.g., Master's) in Communications or a relevant field preferred.
Related Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in communications, public relations, or related field, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication strategies in a regional or district context.
- Experience working in diverse stakeholder environments, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, or corporate settings.
- Demonstrated experience in media relations, crisis communication, and internal communication management
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on achieving organizational objectives.
- Proficiency in media relations, including experience with press release writing, media pitching, and crisis communication management.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including social media management tools, content management systems, and analytics tools.
